Tortilla Crusted Fish Fry
Easy gluten free fish fry

- 1 quart vegetable oil most recipes call for more which if fine but I use a smaller pan so lets say 3 to 4 inches of oil.
- 1 pound fish fillet cut into 2.5-3 ounce serving pieces. catfish, tilapia, cod, any flaky whitefish
- 1/2 cup masa harina, flour, or cornstarch can use rice flour or potato flakes
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup milk can use soy, almond or water.
- 2 cups crushed tortilla chips crush in the bag or food processor
Heat oil, add potatoes if your making fries (see above)
cover fish with masa harna,, dip in egg/ milk, mixture, then cover in tortilla chips
when oil reaches 350 add fish and fry until golden brown and flaky.
finish fries or cook store bought. Serve 2 pieces per person with fries, slaw, and tartar sauce.
